Horizontal Rotation Ratite Incubator - Has Hi-VELOCITY
fan (400+ CFM) which provides better air ciculation for more precise control
of terperature throughout the incubator. Provides better intake and
exhuasting of air when needed for latter part of incubation when embryo
has formed and more fresh air is needed. Has a DELUXE MULTI-TURN THERMOSTAT
which provides for precise regulatoin and maintaining of temperature.
Plus an alternate water thermostat.
EGG BASKETS AND RACKS PROVIDE POSITIVE HOLDING AND ROTATION OF EGGS - Eggs are placed end to end in a special basket and are retained with stretchable bands and "S" hooks, and/or springs with "S" hooks. (ELIMINATES PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN EGG ROLLIG SYSTEMS). Eggs will remain on their side dureing the incubation period. Every two hours the automatic turner rotates the eggs 180 degrees (approx.), and they will lay on the opposite side for tow hours (similar to mother hen rolling the eggs). A few days before the eggs are due to hatch, they must be moved to a hatching incubator. (See hatching incubators No. 1550 and No. 1570).

This upgraded version of the No. 1502 “SPORTSMAN” incubator now offers an accurate digital thermostat with LCD display of Temperature and Humidity. An on-board computer monitors systems and the environment every second to keep itself updated and to share this data with you. Electronic egg turning control, audio/visual indicators and a standard easy view door highlight a number of new features. The No. 1502 “SPORTSMAN” is a complete incubator and hatcher. In addition to having three automatically turned racks, it has a hatching tray in the bottom of the incubator. So if you are just getting started with a small flock, all you need is this one incubator. Set the eggs each week or so and then hatch the oldest setting eggs at the same time.
